about

The very first Provision song, this is the one that started it all. Written 2 days after my birthday in 1998 at a time when I felt an almost 4 year relationship fading. These were my true feelings and wants.
I only ever wanted Devotion.

This is the Eternal version of Devotion. It is not a remix, but an Alternate Version recorded solely for this exclusive release.

There are 2 other versions of this song. The original that appears on the Innocence E.P. and our debut album Evaporate, and the never before released original demo titled "Devotion V1.0" which may be released on a future Provision retrospective.

There is a Music Video for Devotion (Eternal) that features footage from 2 Live performances on the Evaporate U.S. Tour. The hi-res version of this video will appear on our upcoming DVD titled Visionary.

lyrics

Devotion

When I search my emotions. I see a devotion.
This faith in me so blind. Why do I waste my time?
And still I return again.
To face the things that I can't change.

You can't erase the stain, I will remain.
Even through desperation.
Devotion. I will not find what I'm searching for.

What am I to believe? With this pain I receive. You ask of where I've been. Like I've committed a sin. Have I lost all of your faith in me? I doubt it matters by now.

I only want Devotion!
