Illusion (Original Version)

about

This is the original version of Illusion which has a different intro than the version that appears on our 2nd album Visualize.
It features Alex Virlios on backing vocals, and it only appears on this limited E.P. and the State of Synthpop 2003 Compilation, both of which are out of print.

Illusion was written for Jen while I was on the Evaporate U.S. Tour in March of 2003. While away from Jen I only fell even more deeply in
love with her, and upon my return I began the composition that would become Illusion.

We shot a beautiful music video on the beach for this song, and it remains my favorite Provision song of all time.

You can check out the Illusion music video on our Official website, Myspace Page and You Tube.

Illusion was always received extremely well, everytime we performed it live. I'll always miss the times when I shared the stage with Alex,
and sang this song with him.

lyrics

Illusion

Realize the life that I can show you.
Everything my heart has never shared.
Blinded by innocence in your eyes.
I’ll replace all fears you feel inside.

So if you need to forget. Too many things you regret.
Remember, This love is no Illusion.
You’re all I’m waiting for.
I lay my heart on the line. No matter what you decide.
Remember, My love is no illusion. You’re all I’m living for.

We can overcome this time we’ve lost.
Nothing ever will come between this bond.
Our precious moments locked in time.
We’re leaving the past in us behind.
